چکیده
A bio-oil-based epoxy (BOE) resin was synthesized using phenolic compounds from beechwood pyrolysis oil. These were separated crude oil by coupling two methods: fractional condensation and water extraction. The chemical structure of the BOE characterized NMR FTIR analyses. used as a curing agent bio-oil glyoxal novolac (BOG) to gradually replace bisphenol diglycidyl ether (DGEBA). thermal properties cured resins kinetic parameters reaction differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) discussed. Incorporating resulted in lower temperature activation energy compared DGEBA. results indicate that water-insoluble fraction condensate can potentially be synthesize high-thermal performance sustainable epoxidized also demonstrate its application resin.

A bio-based plasticizer, epoxidized acetylation cardanol, was synthesized from cardanol, which experienced acetylation reaction and epoxidation reaction. Chemical structure of epoxidized acetylation cardanol was characterized by FT-IR and 1H NMR. Plasticized PVC films (PVC-P) were prepared by casting method with 40%wt of epoxidized acetylation cardanol as a plasticizer. Thermal s...
متن کاملUpgrading of Pyrolysis Bio-oil: A Review
The increase in the population of the planet and the rapid economic growth and, consequently, the high consumption of energy has created many environmental problems in the globe. Due to these reasons and the lack of renewability of these fossil fuels, there has been a steep trend towards the production of renewable fuels from natural sources, one of which is the production of energy from biomas...
متن کاملPyrolysis of Seaweeds for Bio-oil and Bio-char Production
A pyrolysis study on a species of brown algae Saccharina japonica was carried out in a fixed-bed reactor. The yields of bio-oil and bio-char obtained at 450 C were 47 % and 33 %, respectively. The raw S, japonica, ethanol and acid pretreated samples and the resulting pyrolysis products were also characterized with respect to proximate and ultimate analysis, and higher heating value. The crude b...
متن کاملSynthesis and Characterization of Bio-Oil Phenol Formaldehyde Resin Used to Fabricate Phenolic Based Materials
In this study, bio-oil from the fast pyrolysis of renewable biomass was used as the raw material to synthesize bio-oil phenol formaldehyde (BPF) resin-a desirable resin for fabricating phenolic-based material. During the synthesis process, paraformaldehyde was used to achieve the requirement of high solid content and low viscosity. The properties of BPF resins were tested. Results indicated tha...
